I’m looking for better ideas along the spice/soup can storage lines. This is pretty good (other than the wheels) and far, far better than some of the awful ones on KZbin. Maybe there’s hope!

wheels just take pressure off the bearings. You could definitely buy more expensive industrial type sliders that may work for heavier items! Good luck with your project! thanks for the comment

How did you locate and mark where the sliders attached to the rack??

You can do it with a tape measure and framing square because that style of slide has so little play. You position your slides on the drawer or slideout and measure from a common point to space them on the wall side. There are slotted holes to provide a whisker of adjustment on trial install, then you fill the rest of the screw holes (that aren’t slotted) to make it stay perfect.

the wheels allow the sliders not to bind up as well as not put too much weight on the shelf itself.

The wheels aren’t necessary. A sheet of 1/4” (or 3/16” if you can find it) would make that strong enough to climb on- and ball bearing slides won’t ever bind.

I was hoping for instructions on the sliders. How to measures correct height to match the bottoms wheels. The important part of "how to" videos are always left out. Oh well.

I made the shelf with wheels first, then decided on where they would be located on my shelf. I measured that then transferred that measurement to the wall. Hope that helps.
