Amazing pro for training streetlifitng at home is weight flexibility. Unlike, barbell movements, weights with a dip belt are loaded unilaterally so there is less importance on having matching weights. You can be creative and use any form of weight as long as you can secure it with a rope. There are athletes who have achieved crazy strength using unconventional weights such as dumbbells, tires, cinderblocks, etc. Once you reach a competitive level, then you can decide whether or not you want to invest more in proper weights since smaller/denser plates are easier to load.

however.... cant you just buy non calibrated plates or just have those as an option ? some iron plates steel could definitely be under $70 for a 20kg if you buy them from a store somewhere... kettlebells are also very expensive

I have a parabody tower power, and it’s one of the best investments I have when it comes to workout equipment. I also bought it used, and the bar is faced the back way so nothing restricts me doing pull ups.

You have an amazing home gym. I wish I could build one just like yours, but it's too expensive to do so where I live.

The x mark dip bars are not shipped to europe - do you have any recommendations for your brother in iron on the other side of the great lake?
@SSTR965 ай бұрын
Bro I'm having the same issue, can't find any dip bars with enough height in Europe. Only found the Balancefrom on Amazon that have adjustable height but they say they are too wide and also not so stable... But nothing else... I'm still in the search so if I see something interesting I'll update you, please let me know if you found anything 😂

Do you have any general recommendations for the width of the dip station? Are V-shaped or parallel bars better?
@StrengthGene Жыл бұрын
One rule of thumb from Zlat: Take a picture of the backview of you dipping at 90 degrees. If the forearms are perpendicular to the ground then the width is just right If your elbows flare outwards that means the dip bars are too narrow If the elbows flare inwards that means the bars are too wide
