Be sure to vote #drawbridgeprops or #darkhorseworkshop to help us figure out the winner. This was a spur of the moment video, we weren't even sure if it would get released since we were trying to figure out how to make it work. We have some changes to do for next time, enjoy!

I’m late to the vote, but #darkhorseworkshop wins. Simple fact in competition, if you don’t finish, you don’t win. I liked Levi’s better, but he didn’t finish.

#drawbridgeprops - Sorry man, I like the studded look on yours and I know Levi didn't finish in time. But I like the clean cut style he made, it makes me think of Dwarven armour. You're right though, yours did come out as what I'd picture a Barbarian wearing.

@Robert153435 жыл бұрын
#drawbridgeprops only because I like the finished look of his and his looks like it would be more functional as a vambrace. The barbarian style to me says archery arm guard more than vambrace.
@keithrowland49105 жыл бұрын
Hmmmm, difficult choice but I preferred #drawbridgeprops for looks and style, but as others have said, I wouldnt have got anywhere near finished in an hour. This was fun to watch though, seeing the differing design ideas and thought process, kudos to you both
@502deth5 жыл бұрын
late finish aside, this was an awesome video, and both designs were great, too close to call. both had a completely unique design and were great in their own right. so, with this in mind, my vote is that clearly the winner in this is the viewer of the video.
@TheRunesmythe5 жыл бұрын
Its a *really* hard choice; while I like Levi's because of the very structured, layered build but the sort of free-form, simple barbarian-esque approach worked really well too. In the end though, I think I have to go #darkhorseworkshop.
@TheMariusDarkwolf5 жыл бұрын
#darkhorseworkshop Because good creative work that's functional, and completed in time

Great fun guys! Do more of these challenges! #darkhorseworkshop both of you guys did very well, it's not easy to accomplish much in 1 hour.
@johnnycycle695 жыл бұрын
outstanding. sadly you should never rush art...... still fantastic. #darkhorseworkshop got that barbarian vibe nailed down. id love to see one day builds and possibly a collaboration where both parties make a full suit. that could easily spread out to a bunch of episodes. good stuff.

Can't chose , love both
@qtfusiondance3 жыл бұрын
I like the look of both. Draw Bridge looks more realistic. Studs running around the leather for aesthetic effect only are pretty impractical in actual combat. If you don't have hairy arms, the other side of the studs looks uncomfortable even before combat; if you do have hairy arms, I am sorry if your hairs get caught on those metal things. On the other hand, having a piece of armor that is actually complete and battle ready is more practical than the alternative. :)
@stingraybob89335 жыл бұрын
#darkhorseworkshop wins it! That bracer would fit better as a part of a costume, there's a lot of variety in the textures on the piece and there's a lot to be said for the creativity that went into the piece. I do like the #drawbridgeprops bracer as well and the attention to planning, detail, and precision really shows.

Both were well done and it's a struggle to pick a winner. I think the hour time challenge was a good way to force creativity and even though it's more raw, I like the look of the barbarian style. Good luck drawing that for a pattern 8D @
@triciaseiter68555 жыл бұрын
Under the rules... Darkhorse gets the win. Aesthetically, you just can't compare. Such different styles. Two of my sons really like the formal style of drawbridge's design. Husband liked the rugged barbarian look. So there are 4 votes here (if you will take them.) we all agreed that the challenge rules made a clear winner. #Darkhorse

@michaellinden4255 жыл бұрын
Hard to choose so I decided to go a very simple way. 1. Protection: I think that 3 layers of thin leather won't give me the protection that I need in a combat. So I give a point to Drawbridge 2. Style: Very easy to choose for me because I love the wild babarian style. One point for Dark Horse. 3. The Result: We've seen two different ideas and two different technics to chreate them. But at least it was a one hour competition and Levi didn't finished his project in time so the Vembrace is not useable. So I have to give my last point to Dark Horse. So my winner, with 2 to 1 point is #darkhorseworkshop But at last let me say that both projects are amazing. They are looking fantastic and it's a great work especially for only 1 hour to create. I say thank you and go on.

#darkhorseworkshop This was a tough choice. DNF aside, I'd still go for that barbarian style. The freeform look is really appealing to me and I love the studs, though I think it could have used a few more on the forearm portion. Fur would have been amazing at the elbow end if you had any! Impressed you decided to go with some hand stitching anyway.

Straight up.... you finished in time & it looked like your scribbles but it looked cobbled together and unfinished to me. Levi did what he designed pretty much and looks a lot stronger.
