How to Build a Little Free Library | Ask This Old House

I'm a hobbyist woodworker and I've built (and renovated lol) a Little Library for my two kids to share the books with the other kids on my street. It's very easy to build, I did it in a weekend with most of that time spent painting (I hate painting stuff lol). The kids loves it, and so does the adults--my neighbors saw my LL in in yard and he built one to put in front of his yard, and then other neighbors within driving distance built and put up theirs in their yard and now our neighborhood have a handful of little libraries with people "stocking" the books to share. Please try to build one if you're into woodworking and/or reading :)

Do you review the books to make sure they are not filled with indoctrinating nonsense? It's sad, but it would not surprise me to hear of leftists putting books filled with leftist brainwashing in them.

" You're trying to convince a man whom the Lord appeared to in a vision. Within that vision the earth was seen not as flat, but as globe. You're not calling a man a liar, you're calling God a liar. I've heard some of the presumed intelligent arguments such as, a sphere does not have a foundation and therefore the earth can't be a sphere. You can't put molten rock in a weightless environment such as space, and end up with a flat object. The lack of pressure from all directions automatically turns a liquid into a sphere. In addition to that, the foundation of the earth is an iron core rock, and that iron core rock is in the middle of the molten lava within the core of the earth. Even if you don't believe that an iron core rock in the middle of the earth's molten core can be a foundation, you who claim the Bible teaches a flat earth should have enough faith to believe that an all knowing, all powerful God; can create a sphere with a foundation and therefore the foundation of the earth is a valid claim. Go peddle your blasphemy elsewhere. Psalm 102:25: Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. Isaiah 48:13: Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together. Zechariah 12:1: The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. " Why would I watch a series of videos in which the subject matter is so miserably explained, that you yourself, claiming to have watched it, cannot disseminate from your own memory, in your own words, those things that you claim the series proves? It is in my experience that when people tell me a video exists and I have to go search for it myself, that video does not exist and they are furthering indulging their deceptive lies by claiming something exists that does not. @@robertf6344 There are reasons to why one would think they see curvature for example passenger airplane windows are curved which may cause distortion that's why pilot's windows are flat to eliminate distortion. Another reason is because you see the same distance 360 degrees around you, you see a circle, the circular horizon created by the limit of your vision may make you believe you see curvature. I suggest watching the series to learn stuff you probably haven't heard before.
