Hi Jenny. I bought a Heljan L&B loco quite some time ago when they first came out because I thought they were so lovely. I don’t have immediate plans for a layout but seeing your loco on a well wagon has shown me how I might display it and enjoy on my OO layout. Thanks.

Hi Jenny. I’ve been looking for a suitable well wagon. Which model are you using and does the deck come as part of the model? Thanks.

Really enjoyed this first episode Jenny, and looking forward to watching this take shape! I have to say the camera work and editing on your videos is outstanding as well - it’s always been good but I’ve noticed it’s really gone up a level in the last few months - i think you’re quickly becoming one of the most popular British model railway channels on KZbin, and deservedly so.

Thank you for the kind words about the editing. I’m always aiming to improve the visuals in the show. :)

I've literally just started building my own OO9 layout, mostly using leftovers from my main layout. What a coincidence!

Great start to the new build Jenny! I'll be following your progress with great interest as I have a 'paper plan' to insert a small 009 layout into my existing 00/H0 layout in the form of a separate module. I currently have an 'industrial' module and plan others so I can swap them round for a bit of variety. Keep up the good work and looking forward to the next one.

I was thinking the same sort of thing maybe going over bridges etc,on a stop start system from one end of my layout to the other.

@@michaeldavies9600 That sounds excellent! I think I'd have room for a circle of track much like Jenny with the emphasis on scenery.

I'm looking forward to following this build. I'm just starting a new build as well , so it will be interesting to see how you get on as mine progresses too

A very nice idea, I shall watch with interest. I am at the planning stage of my baseboards and as I will be using underboard mounted servo point control motors I need to plan carefully where I will put the battens across the boards to avoid the point motors. I am only going to use DC with some electronic controls. Martin. (Thailand)

Just a simple question As a child I had a simple oval shaped train set .. didn’t every wee boy ? A simple Tri-ang transformer controlled the train .. clockwise for forward and anticlockwise for reverse .. easy, but that’s all it needed to do Now you see layouts with multiple interconnected tracks, sidings and of course numerous trains. How does the user control each separate train?

Do you use normal N gauge track for 009 locos ?
@JenniferEKirk4 жыл бұрын
No it is OO9 track which means the sleepers are set up differently.

im so looking forward to this. i building a 009 gauge layout on a 10ft / 2ft board and have no clue on what to do. any ideas ?
@JenniferEKirk4 жыл бұрын
That’s a lot of space! I’d say look to the Ffestiniog or one of the other Welsh narrow gauge lines for inspiration.
