I had no idea such a thing existed anywhere. I am glad to see they are being built in a country that has a great need for such an operation. I wish they were showing up in the middle of Kansas where we depend on agriculture so heavily. I see so many chemicals being used on crops. I know those chemicals are killing off the few bees we do get, not to mention the natural causes of disease and death to our bee population. Bees are so important to life as we know it. Thank you to whomever initiated this video, but I wish it had been voiced by a human rather than the AI that has not yet learned to speak english.

@nvision I normally face a particular issue. Of late have been traping alot off bees but the problem i face is, whenever i move the bees to the main apiary site they all abscond after a week or so. I normally move them after a month when they have constructed more combs but they just abscond the hives. At the moment i have eight traps with bees and i will start moving them to the apiary next week.

Maybe the apiary is in a cold place?
@LennieMuriithi2 ай бұрын
@@nvisionke i think so because the apiary is under euculyptus trees. The last one month i cleared some trees and the bees in the hives that are already in the apiary are more active than before. I guess I will have to clear more of those trees.

I would like to see a single one of these apairies that is running with 200 live colonies for at least a year! You must have coonsulted a builder instead of an experienced beekeeper to have these structures built! These areas will feed maybe 60 hives for the entire year. You will get the same ammount of honey from 60 as you will from 200. Orange trees might feed that many for maybe three weeks but will be underfed for the rest of the year! This was caused by what some call " Fencepost Honey";or maybe honey!! Good luck with your bees!

This is great. Where will all the bees come from to colonize 200 hives. Will the bees get enough food from the surrounding plants. I have seen that the hives are free from Honey badgers and can even be made burglar proof. This is good work.
