It’s been good, i’d suggest some higher Db rated muffs but otherwise great! Honestly hardly fly my paramotor these days, mostly free fly and speed fly now!

Great video! The small amount of trimming to get the earpieces to fit properly is not enough to reduce the impact protection. If it makes the helmet fit better, rock that dremel!

John - Great call on the triple 8 and not having to trim the helmet for the earcups. Question since this was a year ago...were you happy with performance of the BtS2 knock offs? They have an S3 now and i'm considering it instead of Sena for the same reason you did but wanted some feedback. Thanks!

Well the first bts2 i got broke about 6 months after having it. It just stopped charging. I bought another one and it’s still working well but honestly the speakers are pretty low quality. Unfortunately i think it may be worth going for the sena. I checked out a buddies and the different in sound and function is quite huge. Hope this helps!

what was the knock off sena? how did it work? dod you like it?

Charles Willette It’s called the BT-S2, they’re all over amazon. Yeah it works really well for the price. I’m sure the Sena is a lot better but it’s also way more expensive. Battery life is pretty damn good too👍🏼 hope that helps

Nice. I pretty much did the same thing by copying aviatorppg's helmet. They use the Bern Allston as the base helmet. I went with the SENA SMH-10R, but I think there are newer, better models now.

it worked great! I don’t fly paramotors anymore though so i gave it away with the paramotor. This was before any good purpose made helmets were really available
