Since we are all gonna be stuck at home for some time due to COVID-19, Kyle decided to build a ping pong table so that he will be able to get some exercise from it.

you don't need to push the jigsaw that hard, just let it do the work by itself. relax and focus on the line your cuts will be much better.

Don't force the jigsaw, just feel it, no need to rush anything, peace boys x

A little surprised no one lost a finger during all this.

Thank you allot. I play with my dad everyday now from building the board. I practised my spin and even did the ghost serve. Hope you upload more.

You did a TON of stuff right, and it's totally fine to cut 2x4s with a jig saw. You have to support the pice you're cutting, and let the "offcut" pice fall as you cut it. If you support the offcut, it will lunch the blade as you cut
@thetinkerers3 жыл бұрын
yeah, at the time the video was made, we didn’t have the right materials or tools to support things or cut well.

I felt that jigsaw on the 2x4 huhu I shouldve bought a circle saw
@thetinkerers4 жыл бұрын
at the time, my dad thought circular saws were too dangerous and wouldn’t let me use one, though currently I do own one now.

Cutting a 2×4 with a jigsaw is like painting a house with a marker. Get yourself a chop saw or a circular saw.
@thetinkerers3 жыл бұрын
already got both after a while:)

Why does it have like 10 legs?
@thetinkerers3 жыл бұрын
my dad wanted a weird design that was able to be folded up and stored, but oddly, it has never been folded since.

I'm not hater, but this could have been made better. You should have connected legs at the bottom, this is so wobbly and not stable. Great for your years, keep up man 💪🏼
@thetinkerers3 жыл бұрын
yeah, definitely could have. at the time we were all bad at designing and building but I’d like to think now we’ve improved.

A little calm music in the background would be great! But great video!

I disagree! Calm music can make it seem to generic. The music fits well

yeah, sorry about that this was made when we all were first learning how to use power tools. we improved in safety as time went on.
@arbinshakya11603 жыл бұрын
need to think about safety while using power tools. the way you guys handled some tools was scary to watch.

It does not look good but it works and does its job of being portable and folding.
