i watched the videos for the pool table.. im quite interested in building a table but the thing is that i don't have the plan to have the proper measurements. i wonder if it was possible for you to give me the measurements for the table.

I've watched every one of these and I've put them in a saved KZbin folder. But, did anyone besides me catch a very dangerous thing that he did on this episode? Look at the 9:15 and beyond. You can NOT put a board on a sled and also have one end stop against the rep fence. This could be a major kick-back if that board moves just a bit or if the fence and blade and not perfectly parallel to each other. I made this mistake years ago and a board almost went right thru a wall. The end that is against the rip fence must be free.

is an inch the smallest measurement of the imperial measuring system(in terms of lengths) or why do you use fractions to describe lengths under one inch ?
@MitsuoRLCoach6 жыл бұрын
yes it is... well fractions of an inch but yes. lol it's literally inches and then centimeters bc americans are weird

I’m mechanically challenged so forgive me if this is a stupid question. I saw you create the holes for the dowels, but then I saw you put dowels into the holes with glue which were exact size. In other videos, I’ve seen people use dowels where part of the dowel would have been in the leg, and the other in whatever piece they were trying to connect. You drilled a hole then filled the hole with a dowel the exact same size. Could you explain that to me? How was that better than using screws?
@str8kronic2 жыл бұрын
The dowels were a stronger wood to better hold the screws he was planning to use

I missed the part where you got the slate from and all the pool table hardware...
@jdwilling4 жыл бұрын
Got the slate from a local billiards store which is the only way this project was feasible. I talked about this in the first episode if you'd care to hear more details on it. All the other hardware I acquired from multiple online billiard retailers.
