This cue turned out great. I want to get into making cues, as a hobby and a side job. My father used to always tell me that I could and that I should. Playing pool was one of the things we bonded over very much. I hope to get a lathe one day so that I can being to practice this art. Until then, I will study what I need to learn, and hopefully one day I can begin.

If this is what a “beginner” cue looks like, I can’t imagine what a professional cue looks like! 😮 I’m getting into making walking sticks/canes and will use some of the techniques you use for the cues, but mine won’t be as intricate, and don’t need to be as straight. But I got a lot of great ideas here, in terms of design, techniques, and finishing. Great work! 😊

The size of the ferrule on that cue must be made for 3-cushion. The pool cue ferrule is twice the size. But you did an awesome job placing it together. That could fetch at least $500 to $900 because of the ivory. BE SURE TO PATENT IT SO NO ONE CAN STEAL YOUR DESIGN. YOU HAVE BUSTED YOUR CHOPS MAKING THAT MASTERPIECE.
