We have houses like that in Africa and so cool in hot days and warm in cold days. I love thatched houses. These people have very little but they happy and don't stress about mortgage and loans and debts. What a beautiful life

@liliesofthefield5310 Yeah, we mostly do, as water comes up from natural springs that's filtered through the volcanic tubes. It's fascinating really.

phillipino people are the most similar to the polynesians because we both come from an early form of caveman humans called dennisovans the only difference is that half of our polynesian ancestors are melanesian in origin where as the phillapino people are dominantly asian our languages are similar to many asian dialects meaning at some point we had been around eachother in indonesia i found myself understanding half of what was being said because some words are the same Mata = eyes Lima = five these things stay the same for most of polynesia

Yeah there's research on the migrations of the austronesians you should look into but like the other comment said. We migrated out of south east Asia, but we also have migrations from Madagascar, and South America. But mostly Polynesians have that South American mix since we're closer toward that side. But that's why a lot of the austronesians look dark, from the original migrations from south east Asian from around 6,000 years ago, to the later migrations toward Madagascar, then back to Indonesia and back out to the rest of Oceania. Just look at the Australian aboriginals, then the Papua New Guineas to the Solomons and Fiji.
