I saw a drawing of this case last year and made one myself. It’s great! I placed it on my French cleat wall by the short end so it sticks out about a foot or so. I then made a similar case for my Forstner bit set and a similarly shaped holder for all my screwdrivers. I now have 25 router bits, 22 Forstners, and 18 screwdrivers taking up about one square foot of wall space! I love it every time I pull out a tool.

Nice. I am making mine with the 4" wood not cut down to 3" because I'm going to put copies of pictures of what the bits are for or pieces of wood after using the bit in front of it.

Good to see you posting again. This is a neat little project. I’ve seen a similar build for sandpaper...the hook and eye palm sander kind. Looks nice and I might just have to build this for me too!

Tip: add a 1-by vertical piece to the inside end of each drawer level to prevent tipping as you pull it out for the bit at the end.

Embed magnets in the end of each drawer and where the drawer meets the side on the side to keep the drawers from accidentally sliding open. Cool project.
