Thanks a lot for your content. I would like to learn more about the other parts that make the system work. Like the filter, agitation system, the correct hoses, accurate psi readings, regulators, gages, type of sprayer tip for the wand, air compressor specs, size of tank, weights, trailer size/recommended and more 😅 lol. I'm starting to research and getting to know this gig. I want to study it as much as possible and be ready for next season. I'll watch all your and other channels' videos, and hopefully, I'll be educated enough in time.

Only improvement is a 3/4 squeeze valve on the wand right behind the ball valve. Makes spraying very easy and instant on off.

If you were going to plumb in a water tank, where in the system would you plumb it in. Before the basket or after?

thanks for the walk through, im looking to adding seal coat to our striping company. so on a budget and already having a double axle trailer how to build a unit cheaply . the gas air compressor runs about 3k and not sure about the diaphram pump and maybe a tote. any suggestion on setting one up on a tight budget? i have a generator could i use an electric air compressor i could pick up for 5-600 bucks. the pump im not sure of any spec i should be looking for on one of those. your thoughs would be much appricated.

This type of rig is exactly what I'm going to build next off season. Any recommendation on size of compressor? is a 8-9 gallon more than enough or is it better to just go with the 30 gallon?

With a 1-1/2” diaphragm, the wheel barrow type compressor has always been enough.

Garden hose will handle the 100 psi the pump puts out. Hydraulic hose is rated about 2000 psi or higher. Hydraulic hose is extra cost, extra weight and not needed.

Hey Darren, haven’t got to run the graco yet besides this test run, we have 2 tho that we will put into action this season. We had the Wilden on our old rig, it worked decent but I’m hoping for better from the Graco.

What is the advantages of an air driven pump over a gas powered trash pump?

Way late to the game here, but it has to do with the internals. A trash pump has a standard impellar. That impellar will get torn up by sand in your seal, or really any other solids over time. A diaphragm pump has 2 rubber diaphrams that use air to pulse and seal and pulse and seal and pulse and..... They are much more tolerant of grit than trash pumps.

@@anthonypkaiser I am not a sealcoater, I am an engineer looking to make a transition lol. I happed to work with both style pumps at work. But from what I can see, yes a 1.5" should do you. The size of your pump is more for your output, than for your tank size, though as your tank size goes up ideally you want bigger spray bars with more GPM.
