Hey everyone, this is my first ever KZbin tutorial! It's been 4 months (as of now) since I started my channel and I couldn't be any happier with the progress I've made. Thanks for following my journey, hoping to give you a lifetime of fun DIY content :)

This is exactly what I've been looking for! Good instructions that I can understand, details, and not an hour long of talking that looses my interest. Thanks so much! Keep it simple and adding the little mix was cute, just like you!

Here after listening to the Think Media podcast. You actually didn’t follow the formula that says “your first video must suck” - this video is great! I can imagine there are actually a lot of KZbinrs out there who would have whipped one of these up for their set. You made it really easy to create something gorgeous. Looking forward to watching more of your videos!

Hey Robert! Good first video. Love the added content like your sweet remix. Made for a bit of entertainment whereas a normal DIY project video can become boring. I can not wait to see more content from you! From your Facebook friend, Molly!

Any idea on how much weight this would support? Looking to build shelves to display ceramic beer mugs, will need to support approx 30lb-35lb

People are sleeping on the versatility of poplar. If bought from the mill colors can range from rich purples to black to creams. Can be stained to mimic high end cherry.

I agree! The plus side is that it keeps prices down though!

Hey! I saw your comment on a Reddit post stating that you built a 400sf tiny home in LA. I was wondering how you were able to get past the minimum square footage requirements for new constructions? Thank you! :)

Bought my materials and realized I don’t have a brad nailer! yikes. Could I use a drill + screws?
@Robuilt4 жыл бұрын
Yeah you totally could! You’d just have to drill some countersink holes so your screw sits flush with the wood. Then cover up the screw with some wood putty!

Or just wood glue the boards together. That should hold just fine for a smaller shelf. But screws are my reco.

I have been watching several picture/art shelf ledge videos just to see the different variations and one thing I have noticed. No one has added any detail to the shelf/ledge no router round over edges, not beaded or detail in any way. I don’t understand. I added detail to the shelf so not only the items on the shelf are nice to look at but the shelf its self is artful as well. Just my two cents.

Love the informative content on building, design, tiny homes, Airbnb etc... but I can't get past all the quirky editing and distractions. I dare you to make a normal video without all the antics. It'd be easier for you I'm sure. Just tossing that idea out there...
