Love how you explained everything , did you went for a permit? I want to do the same but I don’t want to deal with the city paperwork

Thank you! It’s always a good idea to do a little research on any required city permits as these can vary from city to city. ;). Good luck and don’t forget to request “Ivan’s discount” if you decide to order the rectangle pool from Playgo Pools. Ask for George and he’ll take care of you.

This is kinda what I would like to do. In ground pools are waaaay to expensive, but I want one.. So I have been thinking about a hybrid like yours.. half inground and half out

Nice, yeah we’re stoked with ours. Good luck and if you want a well built rectangle pool hit up Playgopools - you can customize the sizing with additional or less panels and even include stairs that go underneath the vinyl liner. If I had more space we would have included those.

I would suggest buying an inexpensive Walmart rectangular pool and building 4 wooden walls around it but not touching then create raised garden beds outside the walls this creates an elegant backyard pool look that will only cost 1500 to 3000 dollars depending on the size of pool and materials you use on the walls. If you search walls around above ground pool you'll see several examples some are mind blowing and look like they cost 30k to 50k.

@HowTosandProductReviews-lvan great install! A few questions, how much did you over dig and how did you build up the walls around the pool?
@HowTosandProductReviews-lvan2 ай бұрын
@@carrmatt02 Thanks! I dug out 18” additional to allow space to connect the frame and then backfilled with gravel to allow drainage. Thats all included in the instructions for semi-in ground installation that comes with the pool.

Nice! Did you buy all of the filter and pump accessories as part of the package?

Would have loved liner installation included in this video. How hard is that?😂 Is it salt water compatable?
@HowTosandProductReviews-lvan5 ай бұрын
GREAT QUESTION! Unfortunately skipped that, but super easy - you just thread the vinyl border into the gap and press it in deep. After filling with water I went back and slid pennies into the thread to tighten any gaps and fix any slippage. Lmk if any more questions!

Yes, the pool is salt water compatible!
@impalervlad14564 ай бұрын
Pool chemicals are harsher than a pool saltwater system, so I'd imagine that if this vinyl can withstand pool chemicals, then it should be ok with saltwater systems. Yours is a good question because that is the way I would go as well. Salt water system..

Can you add a heater to this?
@HowTosandProductReviews-lvan2 ай бұрын
Yes, for sure. I’ll likely be adding a heater here soon so we can use the pool comfortably year round.

If the lining of the pool is white, how is the water blue? Are you adding colour to the water?
@HowTosandProductReviews-lvan5 ай бұрын
Great question! I asked the same thing initially, but it turns out the water on top of the white vinyl just looks blue from reflecting the sky and atmosphere. Pretty cool right?
