That turned out beautiful, Shane. I absolutely love it! I have a suggestion for your next project... have you ever done any wood burning? You can make a framed out piece of wood and burn important dates on to it. Let's see... the wife's name, birthday, and anniversary! Make it big enough so you can't help but have it in your face every day!!!! LOL Thanks for another great project.

Ever consider getting kreg jig? I love the build but it would help make stronger joints and look a tad neater especially if you capped the holes with dowels which you can glue in place and trim with a flush cut saw.

You made a gorgeous sofa out of scrap wood...awesome! One thing though, I would rather cut those angles on the legs before assembly ( would be easier for me).Nice project.

Thanks Juliet....glad you liked the sofa!! The reason why we cut the angles later is that if you cut the angles first before assembly, it makes it really hard to clamp together....been there...done that 👊👊 Thanks for watching 👍😁

That’s awesome bro it came out fantastic, I love how old (but you’ve aged beautifully) builders like yourself can get perfectly matching bevels with a freehand sawcut and I struggle to do the same with a calibrated mitre saw bench.
