The most interesting thing watching this as a more experienced player is seeing how you build your cities and comparing it to mine. Lots of small differences to learn from.

Im doing my first run in this game, though I've stayed with V65... well... me being lazy... but never mind that. Anyway, for sake of learning I tried to mimic Your town, so that I could more or less guarantee myself that I will have similar issues, needs and solutions in later stages (which obviously comes handy when one learns from other's person gameplay)... but I already see that my town soooo much diffrent from Yours. At this stage I have 2 pastures and 2 grain fields. I have my clay pits way down on the map, so I had to actually build second smaller city there, with houses, temples, latrines, stages, wells and hearths... food stalls obviously. And with some 220 pops I seem to have less free workforce than You. But I also seem to have less food produced, so obviously my map has slightly smaller fertility, same goes with cotton, so most probably I will need to build second cotton farm. Also, I decided to skip booze for a moment and go for pottery and cut stone (since I have stone veins located very near my main city) and then create booze production chain. With growing city both pottery and cut stone should nicely serve my upgrades. I hope that I will not go too far beyond Your gameplay, since I really want to get to endgame with Your vids and then I will dive into sandbox freedom...

My food consumption is 30% higher than yours, are there factors that influence it that i might be missing?

Cretonians eat more than other species iirc. Maybe there are other that do so as well, Garthimi come to mind as they look quite voracious. I don't know any other factors though, hope this helps o/

@@Ic0nGaming since this is an older video, I suspect the dev changed the needs of the humans a bit. ( I'm playing them as well)

Hey I made a tavern but no one is going. Do you need to activate a particular service?

The Tavern only provides service if you have booze in your stockpiles to spend. So you basically just need more drinks.

Hello I was wondering why do you not use slaves in the game? Is it because you are making tutorials and playing a bit differently than you usually do? I have a town about your size and have around 20 slaves and they are quite useful.

Well I end up not needing slavery at all and quite honestly I don't use they system at all while I'm playing privately on my own. That's why I usually only skim the topic, show the mechanics and end up not doing much with it. But you are right, not me - Slaves are a super powerful mechanic. I'm just a goodie two shoes guy :D
