Kevin, that is so very cool. You should patented it. I really can't wait to see it work! Not to mention that happiness in you voice!

You've made an assumption that on release, it'll flip to face down... not likely, I think. A great, fun project. Looking forward to your next vid.

That was very cool. Looking forward to the inaugural drop test. 🤔 Does the FAA have to do an environmental survey before your drop test? 🤨

It will be interesting to see how it falls with a flat chest/stomach area. The flat surface area catches the air different then the other surfaces. I think it will be fine though..I wish you luck bro.

One problem which might arise when using small batteries could be to limit current the servos can pull which might explain a dodgy parachute release ?

Hi! It's been really fun seeing this project in progress! That battery only pulls 4.2V at 100%, I will say do all your tests, then put it back to 100% and then do the real drop if possible. 4.2V is the max, but most can do a little more if you are only gonna do this a couple of times. How are you charging it? You could try pushing it at 4.3 just to have some margin

You really should use live animals for this, way more interesting / more peril. What?

1 pound? Isn't that the weight of King Henry VIII horses hoof? (yes that's the origin). Didn't realise you were a royalist using King units, thought you liked metric freedom units???
