Ayato is one of my favorite characters, his kit is loads of fun, and he plays well with others. Although no way is he dealing that kinda damage, at that speed without a few constellations and/or a crazy good artifact set. My Ayato averages 40k but he's at c4 with 72/230 crt.

​@@angcoldniyana CR weapon(Jade cutter, black sword Harran Gepakku Futsu) and farm full CD artifacts with ~20% CR in substats for the ~50% CR. Second, you need busted supports. -Kazuha -Bennet -Xiangling -Furina(you COULD use Marechausse on Ayato with her but its m e h unless you want a busted ratio.) And lastly... Echoes of an Offering 70% extra damage FAR outweighs every other set even if RNG based since his attacks are just THAT fast.

I can do about 22-23k skill attack strikes with him if it’s a vape reaction. I sacrificed a bit of attack for em so he’s got like 72 CR and 237 CDMG, 1700 atk, and 320 EM. I use 4 piece Gladiator because that buffs the auto attacks after you use the skill better for me. I used to have a 4 piece depths set on him but glad worked better with the pieces I had available even though the stats overall were pretty much exactly the same. The water clone explosion is what’s counted as skill damage and then the attacks after are considered auto attacks. That’s why I think Glad is better.

i would say your em is probably a bit overkill. i would go along the same lines for em requirements as hu tao which would be somewhere around 100 em. i would also recommend trying to get your atk stat up to balance out your crit dmg. currently you have 190% added crit dmg with likely only around 100% additional attack. you should try and keep those additional percentages at about the same amount, even if that means sacrificing crit dmg.

Note: Don't farm Echoes if you play on high ping, Echoes doesn't even work most of the time in mid to high ping, I recommend Heart of depth if you play on high ping, but if you're confident with your ping then Echoes is the bst in slot artifact set

echoes is night and day difference its an artifact made for ayato my dmg number jumped by 1.5x with echoes even though its slightly worse than my glad granted though im playing with 62 ping

my fully invested c0 ayato with r1 black sword, very good glad and Echos set only do around 12-18k every slash with buff (Bennet, swirl (sucrose), pyro res) 😭😭 But I think ayato at a low constellation suits more as a hydro enabler/applier for offfield DPS, the best example being xiangling, even fischl. I'm pretty sure this ayato shown in the video either has constellations or a 5* weapon like missplitter or haran

@@RR71311 ill just start with saying both yun jin and bennett are both lvl 70.. kazuhas lvl 90 but i use skyward blade on him, i def dont maximize my supports just bc i have other characters im working on building, but then again after getting ayato to friendship lvl 10 ive barely used him other than abyss.. and now i use scara for my second team so idk.. once i have the resources ill def look into improving those supports tho..

Bro same here. I'm on 65 crit rate with 215 crit dmg. I have the harran on him. I've used him with xiangling and kazuha and most my hits are still around 10-12k withe the occasional 24k with vape numbers maybe. Could this be an issue with supports? I don't have them crowned yet. My ayato ain't crowned either it's 8 on both his E and skill. Any idea why I can't deal damage like this?

Actually, Yunjin is a bad pair with Ayato because her burst has a limit to how many attacks it buffs, so Candace is actually better for Ayato, since she doesn't have that limit, but Yunjin is still good if you don't have Candace.

I like running a taser team with him but one of my favourite team those last days was Ayato, Kazuha, Rosaria (as a burst DPS) and Diona. Enemies cannot move and I cleared abyss until floor 12.1 with that shit

One tip, use Shimenawas, if u have it farmed and dont wanna get Echoes. U can use his burst at the start of the rotation, then switch through ur supports. His own energy recharging passive and the generation of particles by the supps give him enough Energy back.

As much as i love sunfire ayato (use that for a long time) Kazuha is just better overall.. i do love to use sunfire ayato, because double the heal, constant pyro application.. but it is bad when there's no enemy grouping with sunfire..

Yes! Both teams are good but first is something I prefer more than second one. Great electro-charged and almost no er problems, if you struggle with surviving you can change one of the electro to Shinobu.

Raiden is very universal unit -god tier battery, wonderful electro application, can be main dps. Although I don't recommend going for constellations if you're f2p. Ayato is exclusively on-field dps. Both units are good, although Raiden has much more team comps she can fit in.

I'd personally recommend Raiden. She's a lot more universal like the other comment said. She also has some of the best teams in game. Raiden National, in particular, is also very f2p friendly.
