I think coffee usage is more nuanced in the south. I live in Bangalore south. We have coffee 3 times a day. We have coffee whenever we meet people. Never do we have tea as such. I can vouch for many from south of Bangalore. If we go to west of Bangalore it's similar. It's very different in North and East since it has more migrants. I'm sure it is similarly nuanced all over Karnataka. We in fact keep track of who drinks more coffee in parts of Karnataka ( we have travelled quite a bit). We are coffee connoisseurs as a family 😊. Just saying.

Barista is my favourite coffee shop they knows how to make coffee and not so costly but Starbucks is very costly and I ordered simple Cappuccino and wanted strong but first cappuccino was 260 plus and strong needs extra shot so price got 350 plus but any other coffee shop never asked for extra money.....this coffee shop doesn't know good coffee and very expensive also.....if going for any showbaji then alright but if loves coffee then it is worst
