7:57 as long as your not in the recent Tab you can switch anything that you might think is stuck. Simple and to to point, great job on the details of making the stairs .

You need to be in the roof tab to edit the roofs, the game sometimes defaults to the recent tabs and you can't switch objects in that tab. Looks great ❤️

As of now, the game wont let me switch between the slanted barn roof and the flat barn roof, for some reason they dont appear in the same row on the build side, and when trying to replace my slanted roof to break the link, i dont get the flat roof option, only the slanted, no matter what tab i am on on the build side

After destroying the triangle wall and corrugated wall, the foundation won't move back which makes this build no longer doable.

This is great! I used your blueprint of flush stairs to make my current build. Only thing I don't like about this is the outside texture on the inside of the stairs. Can we double wall so we can wallpaper both sides?

I haven't tried double walling it. The space is tight between the stairs and the banister, so there may be some collision issues even with the walls destroyed by the flamethrower.

I've been able to successfully double wall the angled walls next to the stairs. It does require some patience and using certain wall sets but comes out to a nice finish.

There are two sets now. The vault catwalks, and the alien catwalks. Both have the same properties and will work for this type of build. If they aren't active now in the atom shop, keep an eye out they will return.

I wonder if, since you know where the stairs will be, you could put whatever you want in the closet first and then place the stairs?

It may work for some small items, but you'll run into collision issues getting the stairs to snap over larger items underneath in most cases.

It’d be a hecka lot better if Bethesda made copies of all the stares in the game and have them be able to snap against the walls/corner ends of floors instead of snapping at the center section of floor tiles. But until that happens (which is never) I’m going to give this method a try.

I managed to do it without the roof skin and it was absolute pain (2+ hours)

It can be done quite quickly, but some building tricks take some practice due to the quirks of the 76 build system. The roof provides a natural snap point for the slanted side wall and helps move things along quickly.

You have to place them without the foundation under them using the catwalks. You can add the foundation under once they are in place.
