How are you? 🌿In this video, I share insights from James Clear’s book, Atomic Habits. 💚 I have been thinking about how to improve our daily routines and create a peaceful home that reflects the best version of ourselves. 😊 Have you read the book?

Thank you for the lovely message! 🌿Especially in the residential areas, Helsinki is full of greenery! 🌿 Only the very city center of Helsinki feels more urban. Once you move just a bit outside the center, the city quickly becomes more residential and green.

Wonderful, calming video. I love the idea of focusing on systems rather than goals.

That book has been one of the top 3 life changers I have read. It really helps to think in terms of who you are instead of just results that can vary from day to day. Thanks for bringing us along for a bit of your walk. 💚

Thank you so much for your comment! 😊 I’m glad to hear Atomic Habits has had such a big impact on you too! There’s so much valuable content in the book, I feel like I could only touch on a few points in this video.

@@calmnordic You are so kind to take the time to respond. It could be fun to see mini videos on some of the highlights. Like a “ Make it attractive” or “Make it obvious.” I love the reminders this time of year as we turn inward and consider changes. I like to pair changes with the season instead of New Year. Watching nature change inspires me.

@@wendyduncan9084 Do you want to share what are the other top 2 life changing books that you have read? I'd love to add them on my reading list!

@@calmnordic I will and they will make you laugh. The first is the Bible. When it became real for me and I thought of the people in it as real people not just characters. My favorites are Esther and Ruth. Wonderful love stories but with context and depth. The other is Sink Reflections by Marla Cilley. I was a domestic disaster after I got married. I had never cared for a home or had to cook. Huge learning curve would be an understatement. My momma is more creative than domestic so I hadn’t really ever seen it lived out. Flylady had routines! She was funny and not judgmental. It was such a relief. I’ve adapted it while I had preschoolers, homeschooled, worked, and now work 2 jobs and go to school with my husband helping. Atomic Habits explained the science behind what FlyLady taught. My degree is psychology so I loved finding the why behind the what. I hope this novel doesn’t take too much of your time. Thank you for asking. Do you have a favorite book you would recommend to me?
