Glad it was helpful, yes once you understand how something works, you have to then be able to see it on the keyboard so patterns are really important

I've never been able to understand how to play something in a different key before, because I didn't know how to see the patterns and the relationships between the notes. Like.. I'd focus to much on what the notes actually were rather than learning the spacing or the shapes they make when playing the chords together, but you've helped me with that! Been binge watching your content, you're very under rated but I hope that changes soon for you!

I can identify the chord structure and know the basic theory but now the difficult part is to do that comfortably without thinking too much

Remember we want to learn it, then also learn to forget about that side when we're actually playing and just focus on the shapes. It's good to practise just finding and recognising chords and inversions positions, there's a bunch of videos on the channel to help with that 🙂
