I really appreciate that Mike is always just 'down to earth', he is never arrogant or speaking like he is better than anyone else in comparing to other successful KZbinrs or other famous people. He is real in his advice and wants to do something good for other people. Its almost unique that someone with this body type, success and status still keep this strong personality without changing anything.

This is the first video of yours I’ve ever seen, and I’m only a few minutes in. But this is the most competent individual I’ve ever heard explain an exercise on YoutTube. It’s like I’m listening to myself break it down for my people. Outstanding information and I very much appreciate your attention to detail. Almost halfway through the video and I’m hitting ALL the things!!!

@@daprince001x5 I was about to say that exact thing. I have a terrible memory and need to write these things down. I write down everything I'm going to be doing on my phone. Also, having everything written down helps you stay mentally on track because it helps you visualize where you are in the workout and how much more you have left.

I wonder if they are the actual weights they used for these exercises, or if they're using lighter weights so they can show perfect form. I guess I'm wondering if light weights + super slow form can = results like they're getting.
@SaidGherbi4 жыл бұрын
@@elrey8876 That's exact, with the right form and slow reps you will feel more pain therefore your gains would be fast and better.

Shoulders blow up if you don’t ego lift and just go with these angles using the bench as a way to stabilize your body. That’s how you get the the 3D look. Been saying this for a while but everyone just thinks shoulder press and standing up is how you do it. The delts are such a weak muscle but aesthetically maybe the most important

Those isolated rear delt stuff is what is wrecking peoples shoulders by grinding the tendons back and forth under the acromion bone. The impingement gets worse the further back you go relative to the scapula. The same reason a guillotine press is bad for the shoulder. However the snap or bad pain finally comes on heavier stuff so people doesn't relate it to being caused by their rear delt work.

Good stuff. The second hand position on the bent-over rear delt fly reminded me of an old favorite for the rear delts - it's like a seated bent over row, where you focus on pulling through the rear delts. Really its the best way I've found to overload them. Wonder what Ben and Mike would think of it.
