Still working on Ballistic Scales. Battlesphere is a fun little card though. Too bad KCI is banned in modern 😃 👍👍👍

Those Hardened Scale decks look really fun in Modern. I have a lot of the expensive cards already too since I have Affinity already built. I'd probably build it myself if I was playing in paper, and I could just swap between builds each week at FNM.

It's still modern-legal, as for how competitive it is, the tier 1 Tron deck is still one of the best decks in Modern. It took 2nd place in a big Modern tournament earlier this month, with over 200 participants: www.mtggoldfish.com/tournament/nrg-series-5-000-trial-chicagoland-modern

I'm a simple man. I see Mono G Tron, I like But calling it a competitive, tier 1 Modern deck is quite the stretch right now. G Tron has basically fallen off the map, post MH2. Just too many hate pieces, too many creatures that eat Trons lunch
