I started jim months ago and quitted just in two months because of my studies ,but now i love training at home since i discovered prison style down workouts ,they make me sore just like the jim and after some rest days i come back even stronger and bigger , your muscles dont care where you train you just need some stimulus to get them growing. Here is how the prison workout works 1)Take a rep no (for ex 30) 2)And pyramid down by decreasing one rep every set and go to zero reps(30,29,28,27,26,25.....1) 3)Take rest in between sets 2-3 times a week ,push/pull/legs ,monday, wednesday, friday ,saturdays with some light cardio and sunday rest(one push excercise ,one pull excercise ,one leg excercise you can even add more as you progress since im new to these i do only one) 4)make sure to progressive overload (try one of them, every week) •Increase the starting rep no •Decrease rest time between sets •Add progressions •Work with proper form •Add weight •Experiment between tempos Formula to calculate total no of reps =N(n+1)/2 ,where n is the total no of reps Here is a link if you dont understand kzbin.info/www/bejne/r52Yh2OForCMY9k

I also met them through Alex Leonidas (I think he was the one who popularized it the most), although I hadn't seen the video you mentioned and I didn't know the formula to calculate the total reps (before I counted the sum of one by one xd), so thank you so much.

Ok let's be real. This guy doesn't have bad genetics. I agree that anyone can get in shape even with bad genetics eventhough people with bad genetics won't look as good as people with good genetics when they get in shape they can still look good but saying you had bad genetics is cap. I watched your transformation. Before you started lifting you were already ripped. You can already tell you had good genetics from looking at your built. You have no chest separation clearly meaning you have good chest genetics, you have almost no separation between your bicep and forearm meaning you have good bicep genetics. The only place where I can see you're lacking is forearms but that's it and I wouldn't really say it's that bad.

I don't agree, the best advice is stop spinning the wheels, i enter my gym and 80% of the people that do unilateral exercises are small guys, "feel the contraction brah" bunch of bullshit, i think people should stick to a few exercises and focus on improving them, lets say you can only bench 50kg for 6 reps, and you train train and train and eventually you can bench 70kg for the same 6 reps, theres no way your chest, shoulders and tricep wont grow.

I think he just knows how to pump and flex right before camera time. His seated physique looks quite attainable. If he juiced up just to end up looking like a natural gym goer when not flexed, then what a waste that was. Nobody walks around with their muscles and ass-cheeks clenched 24/7. So only looking like a beast when pumped, half naked, and in perfect lighting means very little outside of social media. People will see you in reality and just be disappointed by you.. because of you.

I call it the frank zane effect. Small ankles+wrists+waist make you look about 30 lbs heavier than you are. Dylan was around 165 on stage but most would assume at his height hes probably 190. terrible advice, the reason some people struggle to make progress is not because they "don't have enough training variety". train hard, eat enough, recover well, be consistent, progressively overload and you will make gains.

What is you tain untill faliure on most sets 5 or 6 days a week. Push pull legs rest for 8 months. Pretty food form. Experience no muscle soreness next day and not much if a burn during sets, small wrists, weak stretchy joints that hurt when lifting and u eat enough protein and caloires eat clean and get 8 hours of sleep minimum. And only see a tiny tiny bit of progress, no one else notices any difference and everyone says I'm skinny. Is that bad genetics or am i a pussy

Are you serious? You can’t base your DNA & RNA coding in the fact that you can’t grow muscle easily and faster than average. That is extremely WRONG to state. I love your channel but you should have consulted a geneticist instead of making assumptions. Your genes are varied and different, that’s what has allowed us to evolve as the dominant species of the planet Earth; if there is a genetic trait that is not desired by what your limited and polluted ambitions aspire, it DOES NOT mean you have bad genetics, it means your phenotypes & genotypes are expressing they way they are programmed to. To finish, I want to make you aware that there are certain genetic traits that you can’t overcome, no matter what you do: Cystic Fibrosis won’t allow a person to bulk up like you, in fact, it may be detrimental to their health to try to achieve such delusional outcomes. No everyone should achieve to look the same. You look great, and I love the idea that you want to encourage everyone to pursue anything they set their minds into, however, beware when you use science with your claims, specially if there’s no true scientific explanation for what you’re sharing; that’s called misinformation.
