Speaking as a retired FORTRAN and VB programmer. My advice to all aspiring programmers is to figure out what industry you would like to be in. In other words, I would not show gaming programming to a bank and vice versa. Also please remember to 'comment' your code also check the error returns to functions. As for web apps, error returns are the ultimate guard against injection.

thanks for these great tips & concept projects - you’re helping us beginners get our first job like no one else! I just finished my todo app (the hello world of first projects lol) and now want to start building a quiz game (with backend functionality so users can keep track of their scores, share progress etc) Like I told you a few weeks ago, I WILL get my first junior dev job within 6months to a year; and it’s thanks to you!

Awesome video! Learnt a lot of useful stuff in here. Also, when you gave a Jeffery like example, I was like hmm, that sounds familiar to Hamza, and then there it was, when you showed your home page. Used different tactics with your own touch pretty nicely!!

Hi, thank you for this video. The tips you've given in this video are top notch. Btw I need your advice, I've made a blog using frontend framework like NextJS and with db as MongoDB. Do you think that this project stands out in the Resume? Also, can a project based on our DSA can be good? Thank you for your time and effort to reply my comment!

Depends - a blog in itself is not something that stands out so you would need to make it particularly impressive (eg, interesting UI, implement some next-level features)

Hi man love your videos I am currently learning full stack development I enrolled in a coding bootcamp since may 2022 I do need a job quick but also I am getting very demotivated as I am from a non tech graduate(I completed my bachelor in pharmacy) although I do have a strong fundamental knowledge of java dsa as I took up computer science in school so my question is if anyone is going through something similar pls advice what should I do... Continue on this coding path or not because I do like coding... But the added pressure for getting a job is getting too much

@@InternetMadeCoder I guess you know about CS/programming and you know how to study(tips, tricks, how human brains work, etc.). And I asume that you know about computers in general. You also know photography and film producing. Yeah, I know that you filmed a vid about algorithms where you recommended some very great books. Thanks for that!
