Interesting idea, and looks sturdy enough, I ended up buying a set of cheap saw horses, and a black and decker work mate which I plan on using in the same fashion. but already noticing that the cheap saw horse are very flimsy, so will probably have to steal your idea here in the new year. My build in on hold now until Spring 2019. Winter is pretty much here, with some snow, and frost in the mornings. Will soon be white over, and cold temps of -35c Luckily my van has a Espar engine heater, talking of which, I have just purchased a remote control for it too, not cheap, but will make things easier with a 1km radio range to switch it on.

Hey Michael, yeah they are pretty sturdy we have used them quite a bit recently for various tasks including the panelling that we have done. They are some pretty cold temperatures, we don't get stop by the cold and the snow just wind and rain, I don't know which is worse!! That is a really useful tool and definitely something worthwhile having in those cold temps!
