Josh, I'm a big fan of building your kits and have done many mini planes for my 18 grand kids . Each custom painted to make the kids very own. Have theclatest grand daughters to go, twins . What plane would you recommend? I have my winter project, the cursed YRF-4E, 62-12200, About the 20th attempt the tiny prototype flew , larger planes failed one after another, servos quit, orchestra one being bench tested, fan blew up with considerable force . Cursed for sure. Thanks for hours of fun. Should by some miracle the model get finished by spring , I intend to let you fly it .

If the spars used C or O folds, you would have a strip of paper on top/bottom of the spar (or both). Since most of the strength of a wing spar is in the tension & compression of the top and bottom surfaces, you'd have stronger wings just by folding the spars differently.

great job, josh. but why don’t you sell the master series jet such as F-16 or F-18? why don’t you release the plans of those planes?

We are looking to bring back the F-16 and F18. Those designs are not created by me, but our licensed to flight test. Plans will not be available for those. The amount of precision, and also the immense amount of pieces would not also create a good build experience. Each piece really needs laser precision to be able to fit properly and build straight. It’s amazing the amount of work that John put into these designs. He also accounts for the laser undercut shingle over each piece. We are excited to bring them back as kits though.

I am scratch building (I crashed the one I made from the kit) The upper and lower wings are 2 separate pieces. What's the best way to build the wing? I can't do a double bevel and fold over.
