This week on the podcast, we are talking about superteams. Ya know, think the Avengers, Defenders, Justice League. Those kinds of things. What goes into putting together the perfect team? What sort of roles do each teams need to fill to be truly effective? Well, this week we are going to be taking a look at this, and even drafting our own teams to try to create the ultimate one, here on KZbin, and Spotify. Now let’s dive right into it.

Super villain team You need a mastermind (leader) to be a leader and bring the team together and have resources. Muscle (Bruiser) to help fight. Brains to help with strategy. A spy (skilled) for espionage and/or recon on heroes. An Anti-hero (mascot) to keep the team in check and stop betrayal. And someone to help with muscle and provide further fighting skill (Jack of trades). my leader would be MCU Vision probably, although he is a robot, I think he can lead a team, definitely in Infinity War if he wasn't hurt My brains definitely be Doctor Manhattan, the man is just crazy over-powered! My bruiser would probably be Old man Phoenix (Wolverine), because, well you know, we need some animal in our team! I don't actually know what my mascot would be cause I'm struggling to choose... My jack of all traits would have to be Miles Moralis from the ultimate Marvel universe because he can turn invisible which is just really handy to have My regular human being kinda guy would be Deckard Shaw from the Fast franchise, because he hits hard for a human, really, really hard! All in all my team is just a fun experiment and wouldn't win any fights, except for the fact that my brains and bruiser are crazy overpowered!

Regular guy: Snake eyes has the ninja and he’s trained to fight against heavily armed people..he also has a wolf. He beats both of the picks. Team mascot: sun fire. She super strong, flight, energy beams, sexy. She wins hands down. Mikey is turtle soup and what’s the nun got against a flyer who isn’t a demon? Jack: storm is solid, she was my second choice, but you missed the ball. Rogue from xmen fits all the criteria and shed depower your kryptonian and smash in his face. Batman and Captain America(Thors hammer and the storm breaker): these two heroes are going to lead the team. With Batman’s intelligence and remarkable ability to brainstorm a perfect plan, there is no question that he is the mastermind behind the operations. Captain America, being more of the symbol of the team and prior experience to leading a group would easily be able to simplify Batman’s plans and tell everybody there specific task. Caps ability to never give up and Batman’s intellect makes them the perfect duo for leadership. Iron man and Cyborg: these two would have the ideal duo. Cyborg can control ANYTHING that involves a system (1’s and 0’s) making him the perfect way to infiltrate systems while iron man being the better fighter would be able to get on the inside and attack enemies with the assistance of cyborgs mastery of technology. Stark would no longer need Jarvis as cyborg can do everything for him Strange + Flash: with the ability for strange to loop and pause time and flashes ability to move faster than anything, there is no stopping this duo. Superman + Thor: the power house of the team, they can destroy huge amounts of enemies

I like your list and I feel like task master works better than Deadpool because DP has proven that he isn’t the greatest fighter without powers. He pretty damn good but he uses his healing factor a lot in the comics. I think taskmaster if he just had the fighting skills and not the remembering moves thing does work well though.

I’m a massive Power Rangers fan and know only a bit about Nightwing. I would say Nightwing would win as Tommy’s role like with a fair share of the writing on the show is just for power-up sake. The Sentai footage limits the writing to just allow for things to happen with no real reason. I totally understand it’s a kids show that I grew up with but for this, I can definitely say Nightwing would win because the writers give the character their own agency and they lead the story. Not the footage unfortunately like with Power Rangers.

Ok so I went for Superhero Animated series that have more or less the same animation style. Also to keep a common theme for the team aswell... 01 - Leader = Leonardo ( Nickelodeon 2012 Tmnt Series the Character and Animation Style ) 02 - Brains = Iron Man ( 2008 Armoured Adventures Series the Character and Animation Style ) 03 - Muscle = Max Steel ( Disney XD Max Steel 2013 Series the Character before the weird soft reboot and the same Animation Style ) 04 - Non-Powered Hero = Eli Shane ( Disney XD Slugterra 2012 Series the Character and Animation Style ) 05 - Jack of All Trades = Ben 10 (Animation Style from Ben 10 Destroy All Aliens with the Character being closer to Ben 10 Alien Force ) 06 - Mascot = Ahsoka Tano ( Star Wars The Clone War the same Character roughly the same age as the previous with the same Animation Style ) So if anyone has gotten this far you can see Ive had this Team Line-Up for a while now. What I find awesome is the specific examples I used have more or less the same Animation Style. Obviously each series has its unique look but it isnt hard to see they all have that sleek 3D animated touch to them. Imagine editing something to see what these characters would look like together in the same animation style. Like what Corridor did with their recent video where they took MCU heroes and edited it to be in the same Animation Style as Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse.

I do agree, I think that Superman would beat Storm, but for Michelangelo vs the Nun, Nun all the way. Even if he can bring them together, when it comes to a fight, she's equipped to take on a Ninja, so she can match and go beyond what "Mikey" would bring. Hold up.. Dick G is a phenomenal character and depending on the writer can be one hell of a leader but Cpt. is hands down the best overall leader of any team I field. He’s maybe become a bit mainstream thanks to the MCU but that shouldn’t take a thing away from him as the leader of a SH team both comic and film based overall, surely?
