I actually thought of a short plot summary for Roger's Rejects!: Roger was once a great and well known superhero whom was forced into retirement due to being overshadowed by younger, more "capable " heroes. With the world viewing him now as trash, he set out to prove everyone wrong by creating his own superhero team. His team is comprised of "rejects", or former heroes whom were also forced into retirement due to their handicaps, like Fauna who lost her arms during battle causing impact of her shapeshifting abilities to lessen, Sky who after losing her leg lost also a lot of her confidence in her superhero-ing skills which Roger generously helped her regain, and Glitch who was born without the ability to walk and thus was mostly ignored and underestimated by other superheroes. Together they fight against Chrysalis, also a former hero whom after a freak accident lost her former super powers and caused her face to be deformed, really damaging her "superhero career", now she is hellbent on revenge against the superhero society whom wronged her, becoming a villain in the process. Basically the theme of the story is: there is no limits on being a hero. You can choose to do good regardless of physical and mental limitations. Also, not to sound Politically Correct (cause I'm not), the story is going to obviously be VERY Anti-Ableist. I hope you enjoy that sudden spark of inspiration :D

Maybe the reason for the all the cyborg parts and the wheel chair was some sort of freak accident and no one wanted them afterwards. Hence the name, Rogers's Rejects.

Ooo yeah. Roger should be the one who invented all of the tech for them. Like the wheel chair and robotic arms. And for the girl with the glasses lost her vision until Roger made her the glasses which lets her see invisible patterns in the air that lets her control the wind.

pay1370 This comment reminded me of when my classmate looked up cannabals for her final project in college. I've been writing for years, so Goggle's horrors are well known to me. I recommend don't look up how easy ripping an ear off is and forget to move your search from "Images." Which, amazingly, ears are very easy to damage with the outer parts.

pay1370 More Google loves to put the goriest verisons of a search item as first images depending on subject. It happens more so to artists and writers for some reason. Frostbite is usually not bad... But Goggle's first image results are quite scarring if not prepared for it.

Roger was a former Hero in the Golden Age of Supers, but after WWIII and the formation of the Commonwealth knowed as the Global Federation( wich regrouped What was left of Central and West Europe, Russia, Japan, and the remnants of Canada and the US) things changed, and he took his retirement. As a retired Hero, he was integrated into a Hero formation programm where he would bestow to younger generations his knowledge and experience, even thouhg he has a short patience, is prone to outburst and grumpy as fuck. In his class was 4 girls with promising talents, he did everything he could to beat them into shape and make them fine Heroes. But on one of their missions, an accident occured in a chemicals Underground factory that where producing Chemical and Bacteriological weaponry Illegialy, One of the girl who had Super regenrative powers, fell in one of the Chemicals Vats, while the other girls where caught up in an explosion, one lost a leg, the other lost one arm and had the other amputated, the 4th girl had her spine damaged. The Girl that fell into the Chems vats survived thanks to her regenerative powers, but the chemicals and the horrible pain drove her mad, she's certain that it is this Old farts Roger and the other girls fault for what happened, her Chemical bath gave her ice Crystalisation powers, each time she use those powers, she suffers from terrible frostburns, but thanks to her regenerative powers she ignore the wounds, even if the pain is still there,she later renamed herself Chrysalis. Glitch unfortunatly had no hope of restoring her spine, but with her mental fortitude and determination, she overcame this ordeal, her hacking and tech savy skills in a world with such predominant Technology everywhere, as made her a fierce Hero, she has a modified wheelchair with allthe lastest tech, 4WD indenpendant , Magnetic and Kinetic Shield generators, and hidden digital weaponry. Skye is the one that was the least touched by the explosion, thanks to her aerokinetic powers, she also shielded as she could her comrades to prevent fatal wounds, but she still got one of her leg crushed because of the rubble after the blast, and got a cybernetic replacement. She is still feeling somewhat guilty, because of her lack of leadership on this mission prevented her to be optimal and safeguard her friends, she deems it her responsibility and has vowed to be a paragon of justice and do everything she can to uphold this ideal in the hope to redeem herself in the eyes of her team mates. Fourna(Forna?), lost an arm in the explosion, and lost her other arm while trying to get Chrysalis out of the Chems vat, the chemical burns severly damaged her arm, wich had to be amputated later, cause of the health hazard it represented for her. Even though her Shape-shifting powers can change her anatomy, she can only change the mass that she has available, and thus could'nt make arms out of nothing, she got the same intervention as Skye, for her arms, what they lack in "flexibility", they compensate well enough in raw power. Since this failure, they where relegated to third rate hero work, seen as rejects and broken failures, but Roger took it up on himself to give these girls a chance, so that they could proof themselfs and accomplish their work, and also to try and stop Chrysalis before she provoke more harm, and try to help her.
