How to build & upgrade every deck in Speed Duel GX: Midterm Destruction

This time it's a Speed Duel video! The last Speed Duel GX box set is here and full of value (and totally broken cards). Here's a guide for each deck's key plays, and a mountain of ideas for strategies and techs you can use to upgrade them--whatever suits your personal style!
The best way to build a deck is to add every card that interests you and play a few rounds to find which ones are the most fun.
Also, note that White Veil is mistranslated. It says spells/traps cannot be activated "while the equipped monster battles", which technically means starting from the damage step. But according to Master Duel, this effect kicks in as soon as the attack is declared, so cards like Wall of Disruption cannot be used.

@@JohnnyFish971 never heard of dueling book. But speed duel products are mostly for casual players like me. I don't play competitive or online Yu-Gi-Oh. I play with the balanced decks with friends and family. I'm currently trying to get all the past products.

@@Phinnigga fair Dueling book (before Dueling Network) its a free non official yugioh game which dont require to download anything Its manually, but u have good official ones like Master Duel and Duel links which are automated Also Legacy of Duelist is a thing (last update was 2020) it did reach Link monsters era but nowdays its outdated (all of those said games have banlists) Has for Speed Duel, nobody plays physical in locals Its a good collector item, or it was anyway... Lets see if Rush Duels reach Europe and America someday

@@JohnnyFish971you do realize the ad campaign for it was absolute ass right? No duel links notifications about a product thats's LITERALLY IN THE SAME FORMAT, no ads whatsoever, no incentive for ots to do locals for it. Terrible terrible support. The boxes were amazing (except midterm paradox), but konami killed the format, not europe

Literally right now I'm writing up my thoughts on Mokey Mokey after more testing! I hate the skill SO MUCH. It requires us to gather a massive number of Mokeys yet does nothing to help us get there. I've found that Human-Wave Tactics works best with Paleozoic Canadia, but my most consistent results have come from just Dark Factory, Tri-Wight, and Foolish Burial. Either way the deck is terribly fragile and inefficient.

i played speed duel for the first time today. Sealed of this. It was interesting, unfortunately i went 3-1 and didn't get the mat. I like how this doesn't require me to sell organs to play every 3 months.

Advanced doesn't have to be as expensive as people say, because constantly chasing the hottest deck isn't worth the marginal increase in reliable results. Speed Duel is in its own weird place where it's all dirt cheap but usually only few decks are actually viable for high-level tournaments due to a lack of serious balancing.

@@MarkThePage It's not even a matter of what solitaire engine you're playing, it's a matter of generic cards. It seems like every set there's a couple of pay to win secrets that go on every deck. I lost a match in last year's WCQ to thrust duster. I already knew i wasn't gonna do well in that event but that's when all illusion of the game being affordable died for me.

I did also win a Speed Duel tournament by smokescreening Rainbow Dragon into control! (Next month is probably Infernoble Knights, but CB siding and maybe even Ninja Tistina are still on the list of ideas.)

For mokey mokey, try adding goddess with the third eye, to make king easier. And try using winged kuriboh to make the beat down happen a little fast without king.

Goddess would just get in the way if not drawn at the perfect time... but how about Elemental Hero Prisma? Higher stats, and it gets a Mokey in the graveyard for Dark Factory! As for Winged Kuriboh, it doesn't actually prevent the damage from its own battle--so technically Jaden should've lost that first duel against Crowler!

@@MarkThePage that’s actually crazy that I didn’t know that, about winged kuriboh. Prisma is a great idea, what about adding cloudian turbulence/cloudian dragon. Fluff ball already synergies easily with the mokey mokey stuff, and you can destroy them by switching them do defense like king?

I LOVE THESE IDEAS. Might be too crazy to work, though. The Cloudians could be a big engine, and vanillas' synergy with Mokey is mainly limited to Human-Wave Tactics, which can be too passive to succeed. But I'm definitely VERY EXCITED to try this!
