It's a common misconception that when a stock you buy skyrockets, the smart thing to do is sell it (or at least sell some of it) to lock in your profits. But the context matters. I anticipate positive growth in the markets for 2024, and I'm considering investing $220k in stocks for my retirement plan due to recent rate cuts. Could you provide guidance on executing this investment safely? Additionally, are there any crucial tips or changes I should be mindful of in the current financial landscape?
@Dannyholt3310 ай бұрын
If you're new to investing or don't have much time, it's best to get advice from an expert. Investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. I've learned this from my own experience.

Accurate asset allocation is crucial. Some use hedging or defensive assets in their portfolio for market downturns. Seeking financial advice is vital. This approach has kept me financially secure for over five years, with a return on investment of nearly $1 million.

Well, I'm in my 50's now, and only now.... understanding this. I started from dirt with nothing and need help now. I messed up. When I was 23 years old, a millionaire told me about saving and investing and I didn't listen. I swear to God, in the early 90's he showed me charts and explained how I could be a Millionaire by the time I was 35. I was stupid and didn't act. It's not just about knowing; it's about acting on the things you know. I wish I could go back and fix it, but the time has gone. I am only now scrambling to find a way to invest and learn what I can, so I don't go under. I wish I had Mark on the line so he could help me undo my mistakes. I am saying...... DON'T make the mistakes. What he is saying is true. You don't have to pay him. Just listen to what he is saying. 😓

I have lived in $5.5 million home before. It is very possible. I moved out because it was too much house for me. Can anyone justify the need for 8 rooms each with there own master bathroom? Or a theater room connected to a living room, separate laundry, kitchen the size of half your first floor and a pool? Best thing about that house was privacy. It was still nice to live and and a dream come true. If I can do it so can you.

10.000 to 697.421 sounds like a lot of upside and it is, but if you think about how much money 10.000 was in 1980 it changes quite a lot. It was basically a half years worth of income. That would be the equivalent purchasing power of about 35.000 today. The increase is still massive over 40 years but keep in mind that you have to invest quite a lot to maybe see similar gains if you start today.

Hi mark, I'm 14 years old and want to know what mini business I can make to make money as my dream is to be rich. I am determined and want to know how to. Any tips on what I should do?
@diversable. Жыл бұрын
No mini business will make you rich. You can start out small and grow exponentially over time provided you gain a high amount of customers. You need to start a fully fledged out business with a plan or vision, and an idea of the market you wish to operate in (research). Do not fall for the idea that something small and requires minimal effort will get you rich, you will need to dedicate your life to this sort of thing. Also, not sure about your countries laws, but probably wait until you are 18 : )
@taytay00735 Жыл бұрын
@@diversable. Thanks. I just wanted to make a little more money than 5 pound an hour. my mindset was the earlier the better
@diversable. Жыл бұрын
@@taytay00735 There's nothing stopping you from getting some planning and research done while you are young, as a matter of fact to build up a portfolio, if you can invest with your parents especially if you have a job or sort of income at the moment, your money grows significantly when invested rather than sitting in a bank account gaining interest. But in terms of a business, im not sure on the laws and regulations you have in your country, but generally you need to be 18 to start a business, if you have a genuine plan and goal to start a business when you turn 18, then it is a good idea to start planning, building some of your own capital to invest into it, and do your research for what you want to do, such as sell goods or products, or a service, and who you aim to sell to (target market). Hope this helps.
