Starting from scratch can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re unsure where to begin. The untold truth is, building wealth is possible, but it takes discipline and smart choices. A lot of people lose their way because they don’t know what to avoid
@Gracearias-h5n24 күн бұрын
Exactly. One of the biggest problems is not having a clear plan. I used to put my money into random investments without understanding them, and I ended up losing more than I gained. I didn’t realize how important diversification was until much later.

Nobody can suddenly become prosperous financially. Although they did the background work, we mostly see the ultimate product. Fear is a harmful factor that prevents us from making the courageous decisions we need to make in order to achieve our goals. You have to deal with things like inflation, the recession, Fed policies, and more. In just a few months, I was able to add $289k to my portfolio.

I wholeheartedly concur; I'm 60 years old, just retired, and have about $1,250,000 in non-retirement assets. Compared to the whole value of my portfolio during the last three years, I have no debt and a very little amount of money in retirement accounts. The most common investment portfolio strategies include diversification, where you spread investments across different asset classes to manage risk. Another is the growth strategy, focused on capital appreciation through high-risk, high-reward assets. Income-oriented strategies target regular income from dividend stocks or bonds. There's also the value strategy, seeking undervalued assets for potential long-term gains.

It's a common misconception that when a stock you buy skyrockets, the smart thing to do is sell it (or at least sell some of it) to lock in your profits. But the context matters. I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 10k and I’m up with 128k in a short period of time .This comment serves as motivation for all those who have invested and continue to invest in cryptocurrencies with so many losses, do not give up, cryptocurrencies can change your life. Do your best to connect with the right people and you will surely see changes.

I have lived in $5.5 million home before. It is very possible. I moved out because it was too much house for me. Can anyone justify the need for 8 rooms each with there own master bathroom? Or a theater room connected to a living room, separate laundry, kitchen the size of half your first floor and a pool? Best thing about that house was privacy. It was still nice to live and and a dream come true. If I can do it so can you.

Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future.., I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life!!

I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks.I believe having 150K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a FA) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good stock to buy and losing all the good opportunities.

Well, I'm in my 50's now, and only now.... understanding this. I started from dirt with nothing and need help now. I messed up. When I was 23 years old, a millionaire told me about saving and investing and I didn't listen. I swear to God, in the early 90's he showed me charts and explained how I could be a Millionaire by the time I was 35. I was stupid and didn't act. It's not just about knowing; it's about acting on the things you know. I wish I could go back and fix it, but the time has gone. I am only now scrambling to find a way to invest and learn what I can, so I don't go under. I wish I had Mark on the line so he could help me undo my mistakes. I am saying...... DON'T make the mistakes. What he is saying is true. You don't have to pay him. Just listen to what he is saying. 😓

A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

10.000 to 697.421 sounds like a lot of upside and it is, but if you think about how much money 10.000 was in 1980 it changes quite a lot. It was basically a half years worth of income. That would be the equivalent purchasing power of about 35.000 today. The increase is still massive over 40 years but keep in mind that you have to invest quite a lot to maybe see similar gains if you start today.
