You did a great job of explaining how to use this tool. For the Invest conditional formatting, you can do it on the cell level - you can create the red/green rules specific for this cell.

Thank you for this video. I had an Excel Spreadsheet, and my granddaughter put a password on it and forgot the password. Then I did a spreadsheet in Google and that disappeared. Hi Leila! I really appreciate you taking the time to show how you build your template! ☺️ I use Google Sheets as well to track my budget: I have 12 tabs (one per month) where I break down day by day how much money is going in/out. Being able to link cells from a previous tab is very useful to carry over the amount to the next month. It is very detailed but it really helped me when I needed to get out of debt to see how much extra money I could use for repayments.
