Great tutorial. But the date changed over at 11:45… I know it doesn’t have a date window but it would annoy me that it changes 15 minutes early 😂

Thanks! Unfortunately the NH35 movements aren't particularly accurate when it comes to changing date. You'll find that they usually change +/- 20mins of 12:00

Have you ever done this build but using a quartz movement? I would imagine finding a suitable handset would be difficult. I like everything about the build apart from the auto movement as I am looking for a set-and-forget watch.

I haven't done this build with a quartz movement. There aren't really any parts available at this stage for that build.

They are! There are definitely bad parts on aliexpress and I have had my fair share! But its all about trial and error
