How to buy a Side-by-Side for the cheapest price!

This video is a educational video on how to buy a new side by side unit or Polaris Ranger XP 1000. I give you tips and strategies on how to pay the cheapest price for a new UTV or Side by side. I also had success using this method buying a new truck. This is what worked for me in my situation.

I purchased a 2018 XP 1000 in February 2018 for $14,200 with no fees at Lexington Motorsports. They were great to deal with and in Feb2018 this was $900 or more cheaper than anywhere from here to South Carolina.

Good video. Just bought a 2019 ranger 1000XP premium for $13,500 and only $100 in fees. Good rebates and i called 5 dealers and this dealer was hour away and saved about 2K over other dealers.

We were looking and testing different units for about 2yrs. Finally came across a 2019 Can Am HD10 XT Cab edition Demo unit with 550 miles on it. With 5yr warranty paid $17,500. OTD. So searching for Demos is another route.

100 Percent agree. i done the same thing, i had two dealers in a battle over price. as u know i have the exact same ranger, 2019 xp1000, upgraded rims upgraded paint exc. i ended up paying 13,800. i did not pay any of the freight of 600 something or did not pay any of the other title fees bla bla lol. great info.

Yeah it's a tough one. I like the Honda and Ranger and both work good. Comes down to your personal preference.

It depends on what your plans are. If your plans are manly food plots and hunting. Your better with a tractor. Nobody makes an ATV or SxS that's HD for the aftermarket farming attachments.

I got mine in Alabama at Motorcycle sport. I live in Ga. got mine with no accessories for 14,4something back in September. Cheapest by far, everywhere else was near 16,000.

Yeah I didn't pay any dealer prep fees or freight. The only thing I payed was a documentation fee of $69.00. Glad I could help.

What did you just flat out tell the salesman your not paying the dealer fees or how did you approach that???

I don't say anything until I receive the quote. If there are dealers fees on the quote that is when I say something. I will start out by telling the salesman that I received another quote from a dealer and they are not charging me dealer fees why are you. Try to get 3 different quotes from dealers and then that's when you start negotiating. If you are close to Kentucky that is were I found the best prices in my area.

Should've drove to Abernathy's in Union City Tenn. Best prices in nation. Owner was forced to sell over BS and NOW its called I-69 MOTORSPORTS. U buy anywhere else and ur driving 10+hrs like this guy. Buy from biggest dealer in country. Nuff said!

My family had an Argo 8x8, but we don’t have any water near us anymore and are looking into a cheaper side by side to haul wood, and other day to day items. Do you have any that you recommend that’s under 3500 usd? We live in Indiana, and all places that I’ve seen want to charge for a freight drop off zone.

I dont know of any under 3500.00. Your best bet is to look for a used Ranger 570. They cost 10499.00 new but might be able to find a older one in that price range. Check out the ATV Trader online.

Just my opinion, but do not finance a machine. I save until I can pay for my toys outright. That is how I roll. Just picked up 2020 xp1000 crew backcountry. My wife would kill me if I financed a $20k toy.

Great video... but just so you know, the 'documentation fee' is just a cash grab. It's one more way for the dealer to make money for nothing. It is the same in the automotive industry, where I used to work. Every time a customer paid the 'documentation fee' we just laughed. If it is the difference between making a sale and losing it, EVERY dealer will waive the fee. I'm glad you found a dealer with a $69 fee, but you still should never pay that.

THEY STILL HAVE 2018 XP 1000 IN MICHIGAN THIS IS 4/21/2019. NEW 1 MILE ON THEM IN ANN ARBOR. MICH'. 2 OF THEM. STILL NOT SOLD THEY GOT THEM JUNE OF 2017 1 YEAR AND 10 MONTHS. ON THE LOT.

I did not pay out of state taxes but I paid my state and local taxes when I registered it my state. It depends on where you buy it and live so check with the dealer and your local BMV.

NO such thing as lowest price, so many variables, options, configurations, sales promotions, you want full cab open up your wallet, I dont want dealer prep, registration or documentation fees, no need I,am not playing around on public trails.

Dealers can and do rip off their customers. The downside when buying something like a motor vehicle is if you have to make a warranty claim or need servicing.

Believe me they make money. I'm just not paying bogus dealer fees when other dealers dont charge dealer fees. That's common sense but if you want to pay them go ahead it's a free country.
