Also something I see he missed kinda important too. Correct me if if I'm wrong buddy; make sure YOU cold start the vehicle. Sometimes problems with the engine will go away once warm for ex transmission solenoids & early spark plug issues. They're more but it's something to keep in mind. Even bad AC, 'harder' to spot if it's been running & blowing a while

One thing I would love to see more is what to do, and how much it would cost if there were issues during the inspection. For example, if the vacuum lines were indeed cracked should we leave the car immediately, and if not how much it would cost us to fix that issue. Great videos! Keep it up!

Hey may not do that because it will seriously depend on the damage. Vehicles are little buggers. One thing wrong, then it's a butterfly effect. Shops charge different prices. You may be able to fix yourself, maybe not. Would be interesting, but I could see why he'd be weary of it.

I would point out some vehicles (like my Crown Vics) use transmission fluid in the power steering reservoir and the transmissions on them are supposed to be checked when warm, with engine running in park after cycling through all the gears, rather than cold with the engine off.

heavily depends on the price and if you know what you are doing. i bought a bmw 316i with a blown head gasket and a broken water pump as a learning experience, being an apprentice mechanic, but as far as parts go its really not that bad. Granted i do live in germany so bmw part prices are probably not nearly as bad as in the USA, and the previous owner didnt care about the money so he sold it for 200€, but even still a 316i (1.9l Gasoline) in good condition goes for like three grand over here so there would have been plenty of room upwards.

Germany drives right way also. The only countries that are driving left way in Europe are: Scotland, Wales, North Ireland and England.
