I agree. This was very educational. You’re a talented individual because not just anybody can tear down and put back together all these road worthy machines. I would also add the labor ($40-60/hr for a skilled mechanic; $60 for more complex stuff like Beamers, Benz’s etc.) & deal scouting time & online adds+ actual physical in person sales ($20-40/hr for a full-time business marketer) to the total as time is money so maybe $6-900 total in labor costs in the deal.
@JosephDR

Great job Buddy. I really appreciate the hustle !!! As a consultant I sell my time. Time is the most valuable thing you have. You can always make more money per hour, and obtain assets, you can not create more time. I used to flip motorcycles, then cars, now houses and businesses. It would be interesting for KZbinrs like you to keep a time log so that he can equate a hourly rate. This is what is more important that proceeds from the sale. Clearing "2.2k" and mean $20 an hour of $200 an hour. I think you will find that certain types of issues with car flips are more profitable than others. This will also you to sub out less profitable tasks and allow you to scale.

Love this video! Honestly I think the most valuable thing you have here is your ability to diagnose car problems. Seeing a checklist of items to find the cause of a specific problem and knowing how the different systems work and how they can cause issues, are absolute gold nuggets. If you made more videos on how to fix car issues like you did with the rough idle in this video, I’d watch every single one of them and be subbed forever.

Thank you for inspiration video. I have tried to also flip cars here in Estonia that's located in Eastern Europe and experience has been completely different comparing to American car flippers. Estonia is located in Europe and is ex-occupied Soviet territory. Since regaining independence from 1991 economy has boosted, but is nowhere enough compared to real west countries. This means buying power is low on people and everyone is always trying to get the best deal. There are variety of cars in Estonia, but more are German brands: Audi, BMW, Mercedes, VW, Opel, Skoda etc. Weather conditions in Estonia is not great: humidity is high and average temperature is low: summers are short and full of rain (no point owning a convertible) and winters are full of dark, rainy days and occasional snow. If there is snowy season a lot of road salt is put on roads so a yearly dose of road salt is guaranteed. This means cars bodies don't last long in Estonia: within few years a good condition import can become a rust bucket. Because of these weather constraints long-driven Estonian cars are not desired in local market, because these are usually too much rusted to be economically worth anything. Most decent cars are imports from Germany, Lithuania (where these are cheaply and shadily imported from other poorer countries) ans Sweden. Mostly odometers are changed while importing to Estonia and old history is kept hidden. It is rare to see full service history on a car here in Estonia, because quite many can be old stolen imports from other countries with missing or counterfeit documents. So how to flip cars here? Most cars on sale are rust-buckets or starting to rust badly within upcoming months. Fresh imports ( not rusty yet) can have more than 400K mileage, but advertised as "120K well kept driver" and is really hard to prove them right. It is possible to get a good deal on some older used car below market place, but selling it for a profit is really hard at the market place, because most people don't buy cars at market price: market is flooded with car-flippers that are constantly bombarding buyers lowballing the hell out of everyone until honest sellers are starting to make discounts. Most cars sellers are aware of market prices and how much they can get for this car when taken apart and sold as spares. Most older luxury cars here might look initially as a good deal, but are really worn poorly maintained rust-buckets. If you can find diamond in a shackle it can be a good purchase, but since most people don't have buying power to pay fair price it is almost nightmare to sell a car here for profit.

I flipped cars for car lots in Florida and did it for around 20 years. I had 3 car dealers who wanted to back me for a dealers license but it was cheaper at the time to just go with them to auctions and pick cars for them . I would get 25 dollar cars and turn them in to 900 to 2000 dollar cars for the lots and we all made lots of money . I could guarantee all the cars I did to have a 2 year warranty because I put in good new parts and not junk yard crap the car lots loved me because I did a good job and was fast . at the time in Florida you could have a lot and sell up to 7 cars at a time without a license and I had a huge back yard. it was all good tell I blew out my back and became totally disabled in 1999 . I did the car flipping gig from 1979 to 99 tell I totally F'ed myself lucky for me it was on the job and I got SSI
