Great video. Another option is to buy the BTC or ETH CAD ETFs, pay the MER and stick them in your TFSA and RSP and then those capital gains are tax free. CRA could come back to you one day if you buy regular crypto and ask for some of those juicy capital gains.

Virtual assets that have virtual scarcity. No thanks I will stick with gold that stood the test of thousands of years of time. Cryptos are highly speculative. Who cares if Bitcoin is scarce. You can't buy much with it. There are thousands of cryptos. What is so scarce about that.? This is a greater fool...

Cryptos are highly speculative, 100%. Bitcoin's pretty much the only one that's stood the test of *time*, though, relative to any of the others. Totally respect your opinion, but at least holding a bit in my portfolio is something I'm comfortable with.
