Hi Damola wow 7 years is a long time, you're obviously very experienced :) I have been tempted by the Givenchy Antigona too - such a classic bag! I think the only reason i haven't pulled the trigger is because i've realised by now that i much prefer smaller bags so it won't be as suited for my lifestyle. I find D&G really fun and youthful - i love their designs. However when it comes to quality, i've often been disappointed. It may be my luck but the leather goods i've seen (bags and shoes) alongside jewellery (i own some of their statement earrings) have been generally quite poor in terms of craftsmanship...felt to me like it was spat out by a machine just with an expensive name written on it. For now i can't picture any of their bags becoming timeless, holy grail bags...their designs seem most exciting when they're seasonal, rather than when it's the classic model. If you love their bags, as long as you're happy with the quality, i don't see anything wrong with buying it! This thursday i'm finally uploading again :) Hope you had a Good Easter break!

Ah, but 10% + 20% does not equal 30%. That's a very common sales tactic retailers use. Be aware of that when shopping. There is a difference!

Hi Emily it's because the original cost of the item changes after one discount has been applied. So if 10% was applied first, the 20% discount added later will be calculated off the dscounted price which is lower, rather than the original total cost. As a result you're not getting a full 20% discount - it's reduced since it's taken from a smaller amount

Hi Denia thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! Yes that is the most important issue with buying preloved. I don't address it in this video but i like to do 1 of 2 things - if the item is very bespoke, like for example my Bulgari Bzero watch, i make sure to only buy it from experienced, long operating, highly rated luxury sellers who guarantee authenticity or else 100% refund. Counterfeits exist where the demand exists ie. for bespoke items which less than 5% of the population know about, there won't be a counterfeit market replicating it. Plus these sellers value their reputation most and will honour it in the rare chance of a mistake. When an item is very common, like the Chanel Double Flap, finding a third party authenticator is essential. Next thursday i'm uploading on bag care so hopefully see you again if that interests you. I use all sorts as long as the seller is reputable and the item is authentic - mostly ebay but i have bought my vintage chanel backpack from carousel and my new prada saffiano (haven't done a video on it yet) from instagram. I always negotiate with the seller to get as much a discount as possible and try to reduce the shipping fees OR meet up in person. All the best with your search!

They have cute bags on get2lux.cn. Its cheap and nice. I mean - those are replicas but they much cheaper and high quality. It even have its logo of the brand. I really like the materials it seems that they use just the same as in the originals.
