1) Yes, these securities are eligible to be used as collateral for loans from banks, financial Institutions and Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFC). The Loan to Value ratio will be the same as applicable to ordinary gold loan prescribed by RBI from time to time. 2) GST is not levied on sovereign gold bonds, making this scheme further cost-effective. Otherwise, GST at 3% is levied on gold purchases.

Why are you considering 5 years ago gold price when gold bond is for 8 years take 8 year historic gold price you will see growth of only 13% hiding facts is not quality content. If you take 13% return then bank fd is better than sovereign gold bond. And at present equity fall and gold rise so when economy will be on track gold price will fall as they are inversely proportional so gold price will not rise 30 to 35% is high probability chance. I would prefer fd atleast I will be sure how much I will get and both gives simple interest. Further if you do maths 2012 and 2019 gold prices 2012 it was 31050 after 8 years 2019 it was 35220 So return is 13 % divide by 8 years its 1.67% and 2.5% per year so total is 4.17% which is lower than current fd rate and current gold prices are too high to invest in this.
@hemachavan35694 жыл бұрын
@@almightygamingmlbb2391 if you have a good stock portfolio then investment in gold offsets the risk when there is downfall in stock market. So if you manage your portfolio proportionately then having gold saves you when market is bearish. What a Coincidence 😊 While I was watching this video just now I got a SGB new tranche launch notification in my mobile (due to News application installed)also I get answers for Your homework, a. Yes, We can get Loan on SGB b. No need to Pay GST on SGBs. Great Informative Video.
