It was pretty long. :) Regarding birthstones - they just generalize in terms of the month the child is born or in terms of astrology - where the 'sun' sign is placed in the chart. In Vedic astrology, we will see the person as ‘multi-dimensional’ and not a single dimension like in simplified western astrology. A Summary of Your Personality Type in Vedic astrology is shown below: a) Rising Sign (Lagna Sign or your first house sign) - this dictates your personality type. b) Moon Sign (where the moon is located in the chart) - this dictates your mental state type. c) Sun Sign (where the sun is located and where is simplified in western astrology) - this dictates your physical type. Hi Paola, As I tried to explain in the video we cannot generalize based on 'single' planet placement only. We have to see check how the planets relate to each other, what houses each planet represents (based on zodiac signs), and for what purpose you want to improve in your life, so accordingly can check which gemstone will substitute that particular planet's power. For example, if you looking for luck, the house we have to look at is the 9th house. We then have to see how each planet contributes to each other base on aspects and relationships with each other and that house. Or one can also wear a gem that represents the 2nd house or 11th house (which is Karak or Root Karak lords for the ninth house). These are just a few factors. Hope this explanation helped. Hi Uday, It really depends for what circumstance you wearing the gemstone for? It seems you wearing gemstones that is typically recommended by pandits - Trikona Houses - 1st, 5th and 9th house or Kendra Houses - 4th, 7th, 10th house. Are you having money, partnership or marriage issues? 1st house is karak for 6th house or rook karak for 11th house which represent social status or job (6th house) and house of earnings (11th house). Are you having issues with your job or work or earning an income? This is just a very brief analysis. We then have to check planet status and quality and if see if requires assistant or not.
