Consider I work from my 22nd age and work till 42. Then there is a year of gap in my career (unemployed). Then I start working form my 43rd age and retire at my 53rd age. Now will my pensionable service (used in the formula) be 20+10 = 30 OR just the last 10 after the gap?? Will gaps reset the pensionable service??

Dear PM & FM - it's not possible to survive for retired private sector employees in this peanut pension. More than pension amount, people spending money on medicines and ration. You are increasing DA to government employees 3-4 times every year at the cost of tax payers money. But, we feel that we are totally a neglected lot. We earnestly appeal to look into this long outstanding issue and revise the monthly pension amount immediately.

The calculation formula is not correct as per recent ruling of Supreme court. Here you said that maximum pensionable salary is restricted to Rs. 15, 000/- is not correct as the p.f contribution was made on full salary at actual which is more than Rs. 15,000/-. Pl clarify with latest Supreme court rulings. Regards.
