The unit of measurement will be in units of feet and inches and can often be referred to as per foot increments. For example 1/4 of an inch per foot is usually the minimum slope required to shed water while it's raining up of the driveway or sidewalk.

Great video! Couple of questions. Currently want to repour my garage slab How would prepare a slope slab in a garage, and how would you create the form work so that the slab connects to the apron? And do you have pour the slab and the apron at the same time. Thanks keep up the great work

It would be a two-step process. The apron being the stem wall or foundation if I’m getting this correctly, would have to be poured first. Once it cures, you’d have to drill into it and install rebar at 2’ apart from each other at least 3” beneath where your slab grade is going to be. I’d mark my slab grade with chalk line and try not to go past it at the time of pouring. Hope this helps! Good luck!👍🏽

So the guys that did our pad made the apron soooooo steep. My daughter's car won't be able to get up (even my SUV the mud guard hits the apron on the way down) any suggestions on how to remedy my situation WITHOUT redoing the apron and paying again (already paid $11.5K on my pad that our cars cant get up lol) Thanks.

@constructionideas My view is, on a level surface, no matter the length if it has a slope no matter how small it is unlevel or out of level and water at rest proves it.
