From my experience, you’ll have to wait until the effects of treatment is over. It could take 6-8 weeks for the bleeding to stop. For me, it kept going on and off. Then I felt that my real period started and I had to restart the learning of my menstrual cycle. I really hope that this helps.

For someone whose circle length changes from one month to another, how will know your next period (given that your circle length fall between 21 days and 35days)

That is how a period tracker app comes in handy, you mark each time you get your period every month and the app will calculate your cycle length each time, that way you can get a better idea of how your period works and know when to expect it. My cycle length varies each month (23 to 26 days) so I use an app to know the possible day/days it may start each month

Doctor I think u are making a mistake here. A circle length is the first day of a period to the first day of the next period, and not a day before the next period
