You can buy an apple peeler and take the ring slicer off the end and it will peel the apple with core in it. Then you can buy a corer-slicer and it will core an apple and make thick slices. It takes about 20 seconds to peel and core, plus slice the apple. It makes it very easy and quick way to process apples to can. Then you can use peels and core to make jam, or apple cider vinegar.

Thank you for the teaching! I have read that too much apple seeds will hurt chickens. The seeds contain cyanide. Just thought I’d share that info. Thanks again!!

I’m new to the idea you don’t need a canner to can and it’s apple season and I went all in haha. Thanks for this video, it’s very easy to understand! And I love the little helpers at the end! Do you think you could write down the directions in the description? Thanks!

1st time canning apples at age 66.! I used to wish I had paid attention to my grandmothers (both of them) during all the canning they did while I was growing up but your video just made me so confident to do it. (My 1st garden pickles turned out great so I've been collecting apples from abandon trees at my neighbors...seemed so wasteful to see them just go to waste). I'll let you know how it goes.😉 Great video & great job at explaining it all! Love from VA. ❤ Subbed to your channel!😉

Usually the apples will sink down in time. As long as they sealed they will be fine.

Nice video, but I've learned that there is more work to canning than I thought. I will stick to apple sauce. My wife has nice things from her grandmother as well that she uses and cherishes.

If you put your "pointer" on the very bottom of the video the "cc" option should come up. Click on that and you'll be able to read what she's saying.
