Rhubarb juice has been on my list for canning this year. I've noticed with my rhubarb, it may be green when it's raw but the juices turn a pretty shade of pink when it's canned. Over the winter, I thought it would be nice having more home canned juice on hand. I made this one time and it tasted great with tonic/soda water for a homemade soda.

I love this! Renee I have still never grown, cooked or eaten rhubarb! And I love sour and sweet stuff so I’m betting I’d like it. This was a great share and I loved seeing your big rhubarb patch! I planted some rhubarb this year. I have to wait until next year to harvest a few stalks but I am excited to know I will have some eventually!

My rhubarb isn't ready yet, its still pretty small but grows back every year. I have the red rhubarb, love it.

I haven't tasted rhubarb since I was a kid in Michigan. Scratch that, I have tried it in pies in restaurants but they were so sickening sweet that I gave up. My grandma would make it tart & she's probably why I have a tart tooth. Lol when I was pregnant, I would slice a lemon in half, add salt and lick the juice 😂

I love this idea . Never make juice from rhubarb. My grandmother used to can rhubarb sauce like apple sauce. That would be a good idea with the leftover pulp, just add sugar and can

Good idea, your always thinking about how to make things better and stay safe while doing so. We always like watching you😋🤗❤️🫐🍇🍓🍑🍋🍎🫐 And the idea about not adding sugar so you could make jelly later. You’re smart. I want to make your Cranberry juice, I’ll have to wait till next season for that. To get them at a good price.

Can I ask what is the diameter of your bowl underneath the jelly bag? Do you have a listing of the brand of jelly bag? So we can get one like you have. It looks easy to use. @@pikecreekfarm Thanks, I went to my Amazon and pushed add to cart, so the next time I do an Amazon order it will be there. I’ve wanted one a long time but the ones I saw looked pretty tipsy and light weight so I failed to commit. This one you have here looks real sturdy. It looks like a winner to me. I liked this video a lot Did you can the pulp of the rhubarb or eat it or give it to the pigs? Just curious.

i made some rhubarb lemonade last week..so yummy😋...so you did not add any lemon to the juice? I thought about taking the left over pulp and dehydrating it, then I could use the powder for some drinks too. wonder if anyone else has tried doing that? thx marie form canada
