Fun hack! I like how the 3D images extending beyond the frame of the screen, which is usually an inaccurate marketing trope, actually happens when capturing this way such as with the astronaut.

outstanding. . . please post somewhere a few of your images that show off what the Lume pad can do. Thanks

Great idea! All you needed was the parallax, nice.

Luma AI is an incredible app used to capture 3D scenes that can be relived over and over again. Who would have thought it could also capture 3D on 3D displays?

I will definitely bring more updates as soon as I find out anything! It might take a few months before any news comes out though

That's a good idea! I love both my LumePad2 and the LumaAI app... I'll try that out!

Great tutorial. I get my VISION PRO in about 2 hours and am looking forward to figuring out how to get my 3D photos and videos from the LUME Pad 2 on to it - and then hopefully being able to view them. I also have a large collection of movies that I converted from 2D to 3D that I hope I can move over and play on the VISION PRO.

Why not just show the footage you did from under your nose?

The scan is actually a series of photos, it doesn’t take a video. Luma AI actually gets the effect coming out of the screen, and I didn't show it in the video, but once you capture a scene you can freely navigate it from any angle. If you look at the astronaut one at the end you can see the arms actually sticking out into the air off the screen. That can only be accomplished with Luma AI
