I have my albo growing in Leca. Personally I find this is really helpful for encouraging the roots growing (and hence the leaf growing) and no need to worry about watering issue. But today I have to change the pot cuz its getting a bit root bound in it. That's really a pain in the butt...

I know I’m late, but I just recently purchased two pretty decent size Pink Princess and Monstera Albo for $19.00 each, total: $52 plus change at a Walmart in Cali. Never shop there until I heard about the TC (yes Thai Constellation), PP and AM.

The prices over there are baffling. Here in Finland you can get decent one leaf stem cuttings for 20-50€ from private sellers.
I just ordered one for my birthday next week 🥰🤞🏼 my Thai Con is doing well & my regular are happy so…… 😅

Hi Nick, I always watch your videos and I really appreciate this one as I am considering this one next. I recently purchased my Thai and am using a liquid monstera food but recently it was suggested to use a variegated plant food of 7-10-10. What do you use on this beauty to keep the beautiful white color. I would very much appreciate your comments. My research is not offering up any food that is in these quantities. Thank you.

I have never had pests on the regular monstera deliciosa...is that common?
@chowfun19762 жыл бұрын
It always cracks me up how people are willing to pay sky high prices for a variegated plant when the non variegated green variety is usually dirt cheap, especially considering how much more fragile the plant is due to its lack of chlorophyll.

People have always gone for rare. Once you get good with a regular Monstera, makes sense that you'd want a cool variegated one. The white looks awesome. When people can keep them healthy and gorgeous, it's a pretty big flex imo.

I mean, why do people climb mountains when they have hills in their back yards? The challenge.

Hi Nick! That is a beautiful plant, but there is no way that I would spend that kind of money on a plant of any kind. Thank you so much for sharing!

I was under the impression that the Albo was borsigiana and the Thai was Deliciosa... Do I have this backwards? Or just completely wrong lol?

Where ya been Nick? Costa released a few Thai’s 600$. Would love too see one of them! 💚
@elizabethwalton22552 жыл бұрын
Yeah, they released some expensive mother plants after failing to bring us decently priced ones. And I've heard from MANY people that the ones from the previous batch had root rot/many of them died really fast. I wouldn't go Costa 😬
