I used to blow dry my hair before braiding to stretch it. I just tried stretching my hair without heat for the first time a couple of days ago, and I was able to braid my hair as usual! I guess you really don't need heat to style your hair :)

I love this video! Very helpful! I'd love to see one, whenever the challenge is over of course, where you go over hair wrap styles and how to do them! I have a few but I still go for the casual, twisted low bun because I can't seem to do anything else lol.

Thank you so much for that! I did my own braids in 2020 (had not done it at the salon before) and just washed + conditioned since this is what so many KZbinrs mention. When I took the braids off, my hair shed *for weeks* and I lost my edges 😭. Traumatic! Your video is one of the very few videos clearly explaining how to prep so THANK YOU!

Hey girl do you have a video on how to keep it moisturised whilst it’s in braids? If not could you please drop a video on this
@welikelethabo3 жыл бұрын
In one of her videos she said you can get a spray bottle, fill the bottle with water, your favourite oils and leave-in/moisturizer and then shake the mixture up, then spray it to your hair whenever it’s dry. Just make sure the mixture is watery and runny so it’s easy to apply to your hair from the spray bottle . If this doesn’t help, just binge Jenn J’s videos on braids. I’m sure you’ll find the tip somewhere. Hope this helped💕

My hair grows but its at uneven lengths right now even if I cut it off bald it grows unevenly. Does anyone else experience this and if so how do you guys deal with this?
@katall79513 жыл бұрын
I'm the same. My hair grows at the front and back, but the crown and sides are noticeably so much shorter and coarser. Since the start of the pandemic with working from home, I haven't really been doing anything with my hair apart from washing it and moisturizing it weekly. No idea what the solution may be to help it grow evenly unfortunately
@hopeytopey4083 жыл бұрын
Have you tried washing your hair less??? I stopped washing my hair every week and noticed a difference with breakage.
@hopeytopey4083 жыл бұрын
My sides do grow at a slower rate though
@katall79513 жыл бұрын
@@hopeytopey408 I was actually thinking about that after I wrote the message. What would you recommend, every other week maybe? The only thing is, I exercise daily so that was my main reason for weekly washes 😕
@hopeytopey4083 жыл бұрын
Try lighter products ?? The products may be a little to heavy for your hair. I also have tried just water rinsing on a daily basis, that has increased my sebum distribution which helped keep my hair moisturized. You should check out alopeciafreewithjess here on KZbin she has a couple videos about water rinsing.
